We will have a quiet afternoon, followed by a light supper.
Several congregations in Haverhill will send representatives
to an Ecumencial Blessing of the Palms, on Bradford Common, at 10
am.

We had Evening Prayer at 7 pm.
We celebrated Holy Communion at 10 am.
We celebrated Holy Eucharist at 10 am, after which the Eucharistic Visitors distributed it to shutins.
We will celebrate Holy Eucharist at 7 pm. At the conclusion of the service, a procession will carry the Blessed Sacrament to the Chapel of Repose. We then strip of the altar, and remove all furnishings from the sanctuary.
The church will remain open for prayer until 9:00 p.m.
There will be a vigil from noon to 3 pm.
We celebrate the Holy Eucharist at 7 pm, using the reserved sacrament.
We observe the Great Vigil from 7 to 9 pm, possibly with baptisms.
Services will be held at 8 am and at 10:30 am. At 10:15 am, Joyce Painter Rice will play the Prelude, music of Vivaldi and Pachelbel.
Richard Johnson, assisted by Betty Malbon and Jan High,
adorned the church with Easter lilies and spring flowers.

actors performed in place of the sermon. The team consisted
of Mr and Mrs Johnson. shown here with their children, Matthew
and Rachel.

At the 10:30 service, we will have three violins, and a French
horn, to accompany the congregation for Easter hymns and the
Trinity Choir for Handel's Hallelujah Chorus.
The Postlude will be an Allegro movement of a solo violin sonata by Bach, played by Ms. Hinkle.

Ms. Hinkle, a native of Central Florida, began her violin studies at the age of five. She received a Bachelor of Music, Cum Laude, from Florida State University, and Master of Music, with Academic Honors, from the New England Conservatory. Principal teachers include Nicholas Kitchen of the Borromeo String Quartet, James Buswell, and Marylou Speaker Churchill.
Betsy resides in the Boston area and performs frequently with The Orchestra of Emmanuel Music, the Gardner Chamber Orchestra and Symphony by the Sea. She is a founding member/leader of The Advent String Quartet, in residence at the Church of the Advent, Boston. In addition to her performing activities, Ms. Hinkle is passionate about teaching violin. She teaches at the Brookline Music School.
Ms. High credits her interest in music to an episode in childhood, when she was abducted by itinerant gypsies.
