First Years
We have an image of Trinity Episcopal Church - when was it
produced?
The evidence
- When was the church erected? After 1856
- When was William Street developed? According to the City
Engineer's Office, it was approved in 1860.
Conclusion
The answer is between 1856 and 1860.
Worth Noting
Things to notice about the church and land:
- The exterior walls are vertical boards, from bottom to
top.
- The steeple
- No fence surrounds the property
- There are no trees, except on the side, and in back.
It is possible that the artist removed all extraneous detail,
but it appears that this section of Haverhill was quite open.
