The Share Group program at Trinity is now going into its third year. It continues to meet in home settings, with participants bringing a favorite dish for all to share. All have enjoyed and gained from sharing with each other in this way.
This year Betty Malbon has joined in acting as hostess, and we have enjoyed her hospitality. It is difficult to have a date and time that can fit into folks' schedules, but we seem to make it, and people are always eager and ready when a new date is presented.
Any parishioner, and their guests, are always welcome. There
is no set membership. When a date and time is announced, contact
the named host/hostess, to get directions and necessary
information. Sharing is something we do well.

A Daisy Girl Scout Troop has been meeting every other Wednesday at Trinity since October. The troop began with six five year old girls and has recently expanded to eight young ladies. The Daisy Girl Scout program is designed as an introductory experience to Girl Scouts for five and six year old girls. Typical meetings include arts and crafts activities, songs, games, story telling, and learning the Girl Scout Promise and Girl Scout Law.
Upcoming activities in 2005 will include roller skating, a Valentine's Day project which will be given to shut-ins, organizing activities for Girl Scout Sunday on March 6th, hiking, learning about the benefits and disadvantages of television and Internet, and completing a community service project in the spring.
The Daisies, their families and the troop co-leaders would
like to thank Trinity Church for providing us with such pleasant
meeting space. We look forward to fun-filled learning activities
throughout the winter and spring.

The Investment Committee met three times during this past year. A conference call was held in January; a meeting with our brokers, Cris and Kevin Tritsch, in April; and another meeting with Chris Trisch in July. It was a pleasure meeting our brokers for the first time since they took over the duties from their father, our long time broker Hank Tritsch, who retired from Merrill Lynch. In between the meetings, the Tritsch Group kept us informed by phone about the progress of our church portfolio.

The Marion E. Hayes Endowment Portfolio, which is being managed for growth, made significant changes during the year.
All holdings were transferred into Consults Diversified Portfolios (CDP), which are privately managed investment portfolios. It provides risk-appropriate management, strategic asset allocation and diversification -- all in a single account. We also have investment strategy review, portfolio structure and manager selection, private portfolio management, performance review and help to reduce portfolio volatility through asset allocation and diversification.

We saw two musicals this past year at the North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly. They were Kiss Me Kate in May with 10 attending (the lowest number in years) and Swing in October, with 26 in attendance. On both occasions we dined at the Roma in Bradford. Those who didn't attend the theatre joined us for dinner afterwards. These are always enjoyable times.
This coming season will feature the following: Thoroughly Modern Millie, Fame, Cinderella, Camelot, The Full Monty and a new musical premiere yet unknown.
We'll see what you might like to see and where to dine?

About these yearly awards:
It all began in 1978 when it was decided to recognize
parishioners for wok accomplished during their lifetime of
service to Trinity Church. The first recipients to receive this
honor were Eleanor K. Morse and Ewan W. Glass who were both 90
years young. You will notice two plaques that honor others
throughout the years are hanging in the upstairs hall.
